Capacitive Coupling Technology—The OWM Series exploits the usual shortcomings of small enclosures with radical and innovative technology. CCT enhances the speaker's low frequency performance by multitudes of decibels. It results in over 3dB more bass output in the OWM Series, even at lifelike volume levels; delivering the bass output of a speaker 30 to 50% larger!
Glass-Filled ABS Enclosure—What separates the men from the boys when it comes to smaller speakers? Only the men can eliminate that hollow "plastic trashcan sound" with superior construction. The OWM Series features a space-age polymer enclosure of dense, Glass-Filled ABS with built-in internal bracing (the same Military Spec technology used in the Polk Audio Atrium Series). This acoustically inert enclosure insures crystal clear midrange response coupled with detailed highs and surprisingly dynamic lows, with little or no coloration. Dynamic Balance Composite Cone Drivers—Dynamic Balance laser imaging technology allows Polk engineers to literally tune out the elements that cause distortion in a speaker cone, resulting in a lightweight but stiff material that delivers excellent midrange detail and superior dynamic clarity.
